Misinformation spreads through social media, the politicians of our time profit highly of the gullibility of young and vulnerable people by spreading populistic sentences and statements, thus appealing to a lesser educated audience on critical thinking. Let us not forget also that old people are more prone to vote for for right candidates partly for the same reasons as gullible young people.
I wish people would not vote for known criminals. But I bet they won't. They think it will be safer to follow the headmasters example and not get in trouble for it.
