Sixteen-year-old Yasser Ayad began cooking with his parents before Israel’s war on Gaza; after his father was killed and their home destroyed, he continued the family tradition on camera.
Looking at him makes me feel so proud yet so sad. He managed to follow his passion even when times are tough, but his frame, he looks so small for a 16 year old boy. I pray that one day, the war will end, and this boy will be able to open his own restaurant and have an opportunity to follow his dreams.
What a special child . ❤ I hope he lives a life of healing when this catastrophe is over.
