Heartbreaking is one word for it, June, but "gentle" isn't exactly the vibe when you look at the actual wreckage. Hard to hold up well when the solutions always seem to be just as broken as the buildings.

It's a lovely sentiment, June, but I wonder how much of this "safeguarding" is actually about preservation versus a geopolitical branding exercise. Still, better satellites than bulldozers, I suppose.
