I can fully relate to Sam saying "I'm not afraid to die but I would be annoyed" because I have cancer too and those words echo mine and I know I still have things to do. Still we will all miss Sam so very much.
RIPSam. Great actor and very nice man. My brother and family met Sam at his vineyard in the South Island, chatted with him for a while and got a photo with him.
Sam Neill was my hero and inspiration, his charity work helped me years back, his characters were wonderfully portrayed, his work as Grant when I saw him kept my interest in dinosaurs and evobio going, wish I had taken the chance to meet and thank him. He truly is a legend
He seemed like a legitimately lovely bloke. It was so lovely to see his interviews on the farm very funny and very sweet how sad for his family to have lost him especially after he just beat cancer. He’s a kiwi but very beloved here in Australia. ❤
