UK is in cyclical decline.
Too many bad decisions along the way.
UK was better when it was smart and cunning.
It was everything to everyone.
Then the polarization came.
It went anti Russia….and lost all Russian business.
It went anti China and lost all Chinese business.
It went Brexit and lost a lot of EU business.
It still thought it had an empire to fall back on…..💣
The problem was not the brexit but not steadfastly persuing post brexit social economic and development plan. I would imagine Labour has deliberately declined the UK to convince the masses to go back to EU masters compromising the UK sovereignty to an un returnable level with mass migration and dissolution of the statehood.
Gas Lighting at its finest! Australia suffers from the same and we never had Brexit. The real issue is open borders and a government more dedicated to taxing the people and spending every penny they can raise.

The British Prime Minister seems to think that the period 1945-51,? was something wonderful. Born in December of 1940. Central control of almost everything using rationing, was only joyful because we had a sense of a community, knowing that in the working class town I was born in just about everyone was got the same food and clothing, and our parents loved us. There was only one standard ration of one common cheese. You were lucky if you could buy aniseed balls and sherbet. Saw my first banana when I think I may have been five years old, and didn’t know what to do with it. This fellow you have in the top job lives in a fantasy world. Don’t think of migrating to Australia, we have a similar clown in the same position.

Britains decline started the day we entered the eu. Before we did so we had a car industry, a white goods industry, we produced most of own food, we had a pottery industry a glass industry, a shoe and clothes industry. A steel industry. These are just a few. As soon as we entered the eu we saw the decline. It wasn’t a gradual decline either within a couple of years we were almost bankrupt. The only reason we survived in the turn of the century was because we didn’t embrace the euro. Of course we were involved in 2 illegal wars which Blair and Campbell signed us up to. If burnham wants to blame something blame those wars. Either that or Covid or not being given a proper Brexit in the first place.
The British decline is a direct result of INCOMPETENT MEDIOCRE politicians.

I was hankering for some authentic Australian cuisine, so I decided to go to Outback Steakhouse. I got the kookaburra wings, the bloomin Onion and the chocolate thunder from down under. I finished it down with a glass of Foster's beer. It was such a great experience to see what Australians truly eat on a daily basis. No rules just right, mate.
