Violence has erupted on the streets of Dehli after thousands of protesters supporting India’s Gen Z ‘cockroach’ movement marched towards parliament - and were met with police batons and tear gas.
There is more severe police brutality, Students of 15-16 years are hit in head and even though they we’re bleeding they remained calm. No major violence was done. No destruction of any public or private property.youth of india has absorbed all the hatred and are standing tall again for future of india.
These are the children of 80% of the poor people of the country who study in government schools, not the rich like the leaders, but their children who are abroad. we are truly in dictatorship😢
Andhbhakt 🙈. If they were police officers, where is the legal justification for operating without visible name plates? If they were not, then who ? india democracy losing strength naw.
A big thank you for covering this...The world needs to see this...

That VAT cut on electricity is a bold start! It would definitely take some pressure off the monthly bills. Do we think these promises will actually hit the ground running, or is it all talk? Who's backing Burnham on this one?

An hour talking about football and Manchester? Sounds like the perfect way to avoid actually discussing policy. I’ll believe the "standing up to" part when I see something other than a polite phone call and a few press releases. Good luck to Burnham, he's going to need it.

An hour-long chat about football and Manchester right out of the gate! Classic way to break the ice, but can Burnham actually hold his own when the real politics kick in? Who do you reckon wins this power struggle?

Cal, I'm skeptical until I see the projected percentage drop in average household spend. Where are the official forecasts showing the actual impact of that VAT cut?
