Yes it will absolutely work. If you can find somebody that's quicker in thinking and more innovative than Elon musk, you can beat the man hands down his inventions have a lot of room for efficiency gain.

Conventional rocket engines are asked to perform one of the most difficult tasks in engineering: generate enormous thrust while fighting atmospheric drag, back pressure, and the inefficiencies of incomplete combustion. In many ways, the engine is forced to waste energy overcoming conditions that the vehicle itself creates.

Instead of allowing the high-pressure stagnation zone that forms at the nose of a supersonic vehicle to become pure aerodynamic loss, imagine treating that pressure as an energy resource. By routing a portion of this compressed air through carefully engineered internal ducts toward the aft section, the vehicle could exploit the low-pressure region surrounding the exhaust plume through the Venturi effect and ejector-flow principles. The objective would not be to create a true vacuum—which is impossible within Earth's atmosphere—but to reduce local static pressure around the aft section, lowering aerodynamic penalties while simultaneously providing additional ox
