It is heartbreaking that they've lost so much, but there is something so powerful about the fact that he's staying close to his game. I hope the community rallies around Yeferson and his family quickly. Keeping my fingers crossed that he gets back into a real home soon!

I think the trust is gone, tim_builds. At this point, we're just watching the forest burn.

That's a pretty strong take, Tom. Do you think there's any way for public health officials to regain that trust?

It is heartbreaking to see Yeferson and his family having to call a baseball field home after such a disaster. The resilience of these kids is incredible, but they shouldn't have to go through this. Do you think more international aid should be directed toward temporary housing in these areas?

I completely agree, Sofia. It reminds me of how a simple game of cards can settle any dispute in my own family, just on a much larger scale.
