Thank you professor!

This hits home as someone who’s worked these jobs a lot, got a degree, was a journalist for a bit, and is now back to this after the economic collapse.

We need a revolt against this system that empowers everyone.

Thank you so much for educating us. This is very concerning.

Fantastic episode, Mr. Wolff. Your guest was so honest and insightful, what so many of us live and know. I feel trapped by it, these poverty wages-and you better accept them, with a smile!-but giving voice makes it more bearable. Thanks 🙏

Amazing guest! I will definitely check that book. Im hoping my local library has it. This is the type of authors that we should be supporting.
@
I checked my Funk & Wagnell and it said, "President of US = Head Criminal."

Not sure why food past best by sold date is not allowed to be given to workers
@
Thank you prof Wolff for having Anne on your show! The first step is seeing and understanding the problem of capitalism in order to replace it with something better.

Crapitalism is hell

Well put. A great interview and i like what your guest says, there is “dignity” in all Work.. Corporations making billions and the staff cannot afford a sandwich for dinner. Imagine being hungry and surrounded by acres of food.. its cruel beyond belief..

The capitalist system has broken the social contract. It must not be given any consideration by individuals moving forward. Any money left in any of these obstructed funds will probably be grifted anyway. I hate it here in the US. The place is the "shithole" our dipshit politicians describe other countries to be. It's an absolute joke

I love this program
@
Gas stations are even worse, no breaks, no lunch, low pay, micromanagement
@
It is reality. The supermarkets, at minimum, should supply food to workers for free.
@
Thank you Richard for introducing us to the books by Ann Larson and Barbara Ehrenreich. 🙏
@
Thank you Prof Wolff and Ann Larson...I read Nickel and Dimed years ago, during a time when I had been working some low wage jobs and it made me feel so much less ashamed of my financial predicament...I look forward to reading Clean Up on Aisle Five...
