RSI-I undoubtedly is a great initiative, but despite their claims of not requiring mandatory prior research experience and claimed aim being "making research accessible", they only select folks who have prior research experience, which is hard to get in India. From what everyone's seen in the last 2 years of RSI, they are VERY unprofessional in the selection process as well.
