BUT THEY DON'T GET ON WITH IT!! THAT'S THE WHOLE POINT! The police have been given endless second chances, and yet they STILL would rather police our reaction than protect the law compliant innocent!! The police have ZERO excuse here.
The thing is, do we believe what the police tell us over the last few years? Answer is No. This is the police doing this to the British public, thinking we are stupid and gullible. The police are completely two tier, woke and DEI. They are not fit for purpose. The British public are not stupid.
It’s not sodding entertainment. We are worried about what is happening in this country and we have lost complete trust in politicians, the media, the police and judiciary, in fact, the whole damn lot of you. So don’t tell us we should let people like you get on with it,
5 words why people don't trust the authorities anymore - "I... Don't... Think... You... Have... Mate..." You cannot do an abhorrent act like that, deny its a problem and then expect people to trust you.
When the police gave their first press release, they said this was not terrorism and they were satisfied it was not politically motivated. That was speculation on the part of the police who lecture everyone else about speculation. Now we are told that this murder is being investigated by Counter-Terrorism officers. Nigel is quite right to question the narrative we have all been given. We have a right to ask questions.
So the Police speculate wildly, why shouldn't I ? Parm Sandhu is just churning out the police line unimaginatively ... if its just about calming people down, why did they announce Ann Widdecombe had been murdered in the first place ?
The police come out with one barefaced lie after another, then when what everyone had said all along was proved to be correct, it's, "Oh, you mustn't speculate, it's dangerous."
You know when I was a young man in the 1970's; everyone of 78 years of age, was held in the same reverence as Ann Widdecombe. And why? Because of 78 years worth of life experience, and not to mention the fact the folk of 78, back then, had lived through two world wars. Maybe that was why I was taught back then to consider folk of Ann's age as; 'my elders; and betters' maybe?

BTW, when are the Times going to investigate the financial affairs of the 400+ Labour MPs? Surely there’s a few juicy stories there.
