More than 830 wildfires were burning in Canada, along with more than a dozen in northern Minnesota, forcing mandatory evacuations and spreading unhealthy smoke down to the Lower 48.
I can see a haze here in Pittsburgh despite the air quality sensors being in the 64-68 range. Seems like the sensors might have a delay. Just a few miles north of Pittsburgh sensors are in the 150+ range.
Oh that's why it looked so weird outside yesterday, it looks like we are still getting some of the smoke in Vermont, it's not nearly as bad as yesterday, but you can still see a slight yellow hue, I'm right on the border to get to Montreal
To our Canadian neighbors, you are in my prayers.

I’m in north metro Detroit. Smoke came in over the course of the day yesterday, 7/15. By the evening you could see a haze, the sunset was orange, and it smells like a large campfire outside. Made my 18yr old daughter cancel her run and beach plans for the day. Insisted she do stuff indoors today.
I live in Wisconsin. Walked outside this morning and could smell the smoke and there is a film of smoke in the air.
