sooo many people talking about that vera hart archetype quiz its crazy, lol. Tried it myself and the results are quite promising!

This very classy gentleman has been the sole source of early history of the African culture. I want to personally thank the PBS channel for allowing him to preserve the history that this government constantly tries to erase. So much can be learned from history because once you learn your lineage, you have a base. Much love to Henry Louis Gates, Jr. Thank you, thank you, thank you. ❤❤

Thank you for preserving African culture, for the truth and sake of us all.

There were great Civilizations in Africa that get overlooked, it’s where humanity began.
@
there’s so much African history that was never fully taught or highlighted. Always important to keep learning and sharing it 🌍
@
African history is far deeper and richer than most people are ever taught. The great civilizations, kingdoms, knowledge, and cultural legacy of Africa deserve much more attention and respect.

Hey, PBS, please include the production/original air date and names of the interviewees and other presenters in the description. Thank you!
@
Here we go 🙄. Whenever Africa is getting its deserved recognition, here come the “whatabout” crowd, desperate to distract and detract and hijack the conversation. Thank you, PBS for talking about Nubia and its centuries of influence.

5:55 Something they didn't touch on beyond the oldest fossil evidence being found in Africa is that Africans have the highest genetic diversity among any group of people. This makes the possibility we might have come from any other continent a statistical impossibility.

Thank you Mitochondrial Eve ..... 🎉🎉

This was pieced together from another excellent 6 part series where they revealed the hidden history of other parts of Africa like Nigeria (Benin etc) & historical Mali and it's history of writing & centres of learning.

It is documentaries like these that hopefully will get more people studying Africa , there is a rich history of the Niger Delta and river that needs to be written about , Senegal and surrounding seems to have archeology dating back centuries, the Bantu/Nguni migrations has it own story. Egypt and Kush are only a small corner of Africa. 😀
@
I have a degree in archeology. It is well known that human life started in Africa. Most people might not know that Africa and the Middle East were one floral and biological ecosystem at various points in earth's history. They merged and separated many times in the last 3 million years. More things are coming to the surface through different research fields. So a lot of things are still debatable.
