The show is over-hyped. It was OK, but not amazing. And while it raises awareness, it also reinforces harmful stereotypes about all boys/men being out of control misogynists - fuelling further blatant, but somehow accepted , sexism from women/girls in the form of blanket contempt towards boys/men. This latter concept is called misandry, by the way. There, you learnt a new word.
Adolescence broke me a bit. Clearly I haven't read this book yet, but this interview and Stephen Graham's honest, simple yet eloquent conversation had me transfixed.
What a great idea. My daughter gave me and her mother in law, books to fill in called Grandma's story and I am a bit unsure what to put in with out embarrassing them.
