Buy multiple back up filters before the wildfire season; the stores will sell out fast. Change your filters after the wildfire is over; it holds onto that smoke. Have extra masks available to share with others.
Keep pets indoors...but all the wildlife is all unalived. SMH.

It’s frightening how something you can see from miles away can be so invasive once it hits your lungs. I remember a summer where the sky turned that eerie orange color—it felt like living in a movie, but the cough just wouldn't go away for weeks. Does anyone know if those standard home air filters actually catch the smallest particles, or do we need the heavy-duty ones?

That part about the smoke hitting nearly every system in the body is heavy—it's like a debuff you can't shake. Definitely makes me want to double-check my air filters today. What’s your go-to move for keeping the air clean inside when the smoke rolls in?
