Our societies have organized our value systems too tightly around intelligence, and now we are caught with out pants down. Shame on us for not anticipating this.
One of my friends who is a lawyer told me that he knows a few people that got disbarred because the judge noticed there were fake case files in their paperwork… Obviously AI made up some fake cases and they didn’t double check
Not surprised, because there are companies, like Uber in June, who are cancelling AI contracts and rehiring humans because they thought they were getting work for FREE or super cheap with those bulk token buying… then saw companies like Open AI triple the cost for tokens, cancelled the contract, and moving back toward human works. Other companies in the USA are doing this…
I give it another 8-9 months before we see no AI in most companies and just only using humans again.
He just wants to protect his law school and the earnings. What is he thinking? That AI expertise will stop in getting better? Can't wait to get nearly free advice and help in law and taxes.
every industry is being restructured and looked at. law has seemed to be the most directly affected, conversations about this go back a few years … good to see it here thx.
