So is Burnham going to call for a GE, just like he did in 2022 when Boris was swapped out for Truss?............Surely not more Labour hypocrisy.

Also, didn't Labour already hold the Makerfield seat?...So this was a political "stunt", one undertaken just so they could sneak in a new PM via the backdoor and without a mandate from the people......right. Didn't this cost the taxpayer money? Come to think of it, now that Burnham hasn't bothered to see his term out as mayor, won't we need an utterly avoidable mayoral election?....Are these free to run?

Burnham will be targeting the rich with a new tax on anyone who earns more than £0 a year!

We'll miss Keir Starmer.
@
the government were part of the cover up he is as bad as all the rest ! only when the crowd told him did he change his mind
@
Paying credit to Starmer sums up what the rest of his Premiership is going to be ....the same BS.
@
I hope they make up. Starmer would be an excellent minister. Especially foreign.

'the new legislation will change the way blah blah blah' -- BUT you are forgetting that it should be the PEOPLE that change the way WE think about justice...not politicians..!
