A longtime caregiver has been arrested after investigators say she used about $24,000 belonging to an elderly woman with Alzheimer’s disease to fund her gambling habit at South Florida casinos.
This happens all the time with dementia individual's children taking their money for personal use and most times goes undetected if it's done by an appointed POA family member.
I’m a nurse and I see this kind of stuff often. It’s really sad. 😔 I don’t understand how a person can do that kind of thing? To think it’s her own mother.

I am blown away by her response when the Judge said, "" you understand the stay away order ."" to which she says , "" yes I do , I have not seen my mom in 5 years anyway."" Like the stay away order does not matter She has got to be the worst daughter ever. I feel so sorry for her mother having a child like this.
