Housing supply issues = stop immigration

Let's stop bringing in millions of people when no Aussie can afford a home and we have no new hospitals, schools or prisons. There's only 50000 police for 28 million! How is this a good idea?????

Everyone knows houses only go up you might have a couple of years down then up ago .🙌🏻

It’s not getting better. Labor has not and will not prioritise building trades qualified immigrants as it isn’t in the interests of their union donors but are happy to use it as an excuse to immigrate millions of voters to keep themselves elected.

Albo sold his houses just before changing the tax laws.,.., Fire the liar 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

“$2 rent increase” — a fairy tale for the headlines, not reality for renters.

Tax investment, shrink supply, pile on debt, drive up costs, then call it “intergenerational equity”. The next generation gets the bill. Enough spin.

C'mon Andrew. Of course the government think that people are stupid. How else would they have been elected?
@
Well ur policies only benefit the old generations. Tell us why the f a combined family income of up to 500k r entitled to childcare subsidies? Why? So they can use our tax money to buy investment properties, negatively gear, cgt discounts 50 percent, and tax deduct their losses whilst we r barely surviving need to be hit with double digit rent rise and f all benefits. We can’t use our super money to buy a home to live in n it’s our f money n forced to pay ridiculous rent. Continue dreaming for this f life cause now we the young generations have the upper hand and form the biggest voting group. We won’t allow our votes to fall under any parties who rules with these restarted policies. Tell us why u should be getting childcare when u have a combined income of up to 500k n u shouldn’t be paying the fair amount of taxes? F heads.

Recent nationwide polling confirms that the majority of Australians **welcome a decrease in housing costs. Surveys by the Resolve Political Monitor show 54% of voters support lower home prices, while a Sky News Pulse/YouGov poll found nearly half of the nation explicitly desires property values to decline** Well done Labor on the Pulse of Australians

Why is Sky News, One Nation or Liberals not talking about a huge farm in Tasmania being sold to a British company that wants to grow pine trees?

Just send them all home. It's really not hard, open up that FKN home affairs database and just click remove all, 90 day notice that due to a state of housing emergency their visa is revoked effective immediately.. Then we can finally start again. Shelter first, then industry, then jobs and so on. Not the absolute basket case we have now.

Rents are going to go off
