Should have come to Atlanta. Atlanta stadium, Mercedes Benz Stadium, was built for American football and European football. Atlanta is a walkable city and the fan fest brought over 500,000 people. NYC was singularly focused on the Knicks during the NBA Finals. Nothing else mattered during that time. After they won, though, the city popping with World Cup fever, especially in the run-up to Final!

I was in the US during the World Cup on the east and west coast and what I saw was hordes of Mexicans and South Americans who created the World Cup atmosphere.
I’m sorry but I’m dying laughing at you even entertaining the possibility that NY would care more about a World Cup game (any game, even the final) than the Knicks winning it all for the first time in over half a century. Especially after that historic comeback in game 3.
