Hate him or love him Tuchel did a brilliant job. If he put attackers on against Argentina and we'd lost yous would've been saying 'should've gone 5 at the back like we did against Mexico and Norway' be grateful for what he/we have acheived!

As a german i will say - england have a great team ,great single players and tuchel can forge them and theyr great talents even stronger together. I can feel your hurts, wishes ,dreams but pleas be patient one more, you can do it next time ,i never had more faith in it than today, your second star will rise.
The only villain in all of this is the English media, not Tuchel, not the players, just the despicable people calling themselves journalists, tabloid clowns. Gotcha merchants.
Remember FIFA gave Quansah a 2 match ban for his red card. The only 2 match ban in this tournament and actually the only 2 match ban in any world cup since 1998.

I have to say, apart from the Argentina game, England played without fear. Even after going behind in games. I haven't seen that since Euro 96. So despite us losing the semi, the attitude and response from the team is encouraging. Tuchel deserves credit for this.
It takes time to build a champion team and to gather experience and you have to learn from your mistakes. Beckenbauer took over Germany in 1984, had a decent WC '86, failed at the German home EURO '88 and won the WC in 1990. Deschamps took over France in 2012, had a decent WC '14, failed at the French home EURO '16 and won the WC in 2018. If the FA doesn't sack him for (maybe) not winning EURO '28 then England will win the WC 2030. Tuchel as a manager definitely has the class of Beckenbauer and Deschamps.
as a German i became a fan of the English national team during this tournament. after Germany lost i cheered for England as if it was my team. i think before anyone can win the world cup you have to come close a couple of times. i wish you all the best in the futre and i hope you give Tuchel the chance finish this project. England will be a huge force in the years to come!
