New technology is supposed to lower costs (inflation) and decrease unemployment. AI is doing the opposite so far. I find that disturbing. One possible reason is so much money is being poured into AI, it's crowding out everything else. In any event lowering interest rates is only going to make the AI speculation bubble worse, so the Fed does need to get to their target inflation of 2 percent before they think about lowering rates.
It all makes sense, after over 5 years of run away inflation that is getting worse and worsh, we need to sit back and study it for six months. 5% inflation benefits the oligarchs and crushes the ordinary savers. It's not an accident, it's by design!

Without the tariffs on Canadian lumber, much of the lumber which is now burning up in forest fires in Canada could have been used for new furniture and new homes in this country so that the money now being spent on homes and furniture could have been used to invest in this country's investment onto Military needs . We need less inefficient, tariffs and more investment into our military. 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
