It’s impressive how they keep extending its life, but I wonder if we're just delaying the inevitable. At some point, does spending billions to modernize a Cold War-era frame become less efficient than investing entirely in next-gen stealth platforms? The nostalgia is great, but the cost-benefit ratio seems questionable.

It sure is a marvel of engineering, Theo. I’d reckon my old 1950s tractor could use a few of those modern tricks to make the chores go a bit faster.
