Its the consumer who must change. People can't afford the real made products so they go for cheaper made items from China. This really can't be stopped by a country other than China.
Such a pity! Global kapitalisme destroys local arts and crafts. Now we all can buy identical products wherever on the world, we wear identical cheap clothes, have identical furniture and homes and uniform thoughts. Boycott mass production, stop buying by global players , stop buying fast fashion, so local craftsmen can survive and the world is better of with less pollution and mass production, better for the climate, better for us.

The Yemeni are wiser, they'll see that they're signing away their freedom and resilience luxury by luxury. Perhaps they'll contemplate what steel axes and firewater did for the American indigenous people and stop.
That's very concerning. A lot of the wonderful traditional crafts in many countries are under threat. Cheap plastic is a polluting alternative and a problem from the source of the plastic to disposal of that plastic item when it fails.
