AI Expert Mo Gawdat returns to The Diary Of A CEO to reveal why AGI has already arrived, why 30% of jobs will disappear by 2027, and why the most dangerous thing about AI isn't the technology - it's t
My favorite part of the week is putting this channel on and just absorbing the wisdom. Thank you Steven for always asking the exact questions the audience is thinking.
67yo truck driver from SE USA. Love these conversations. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed and swept along in currents larger than ourselves. Chris, You and your guests give me cautious hope. At least in the long term.
Thanks to you and Mr. Gawdat👍
This!!! We are ruled by psychopaths. Our logic and our laws don't register with them. They are simply unaware that they are toxic. Non psychopaths are appealing to their good nature and they simply don't have one.
I am happy I could enjoy the 80s and 90s. It s contact with people that makes me happy. Look at the expressions on peoples faces. A lot more smiling in that time. A small group decides how the world is. And it s most in their favor. They make more and more money. Don t consume. Stick with old products as long as possible is my idea. I wonder how many people are asking about a world like this. For me it feels like prison. Less and less freedom everything feels controlled. Things that change the world so much should also be decided by the people. Thumbs up if you agree
One of the biggest questions I asked growing up was why there was not a clear system in place that allowed you to track specifically how your tax money was used. For example, you could see that out of the 200$ you paid 10% went to road infrastructure near your area, 40% to public transport maintenance in your area, 50% split between healthcare and national security. It seems strange that everyone that pays taxes on a monthly basis has no ability to see how the money is used. We should be able to audit the tax money we pay in a quick and easy way, especially with the AI tools we have today. Its shocking to see how little people care for how their hard earned tax payer money is used. Happy Monday! 😊
My little actions to make the world better: Supporting small businesses and farmers when I can. Making ethical decisions in my small business even though it causes me to miss out on revenue. Sharing hope & encouragement wherever possible.
Yes, as a matter of fact, I took some small actions.
Last year in august, i erased my social media accounts: tiktok, instagram, facebook, reddit.
Currently i keep only youtube for things like this channel.
I stopped paying for any subscription even for youtube, for netflix, prime .
started buying books to support that, even if i could them on pdf for free online.
I stopped using all those digital products with exactly this crazy idea in my mind: WHAT IF everyone else stops using them? WHAT IF everyone else realize that together we actually have the power to change anything we want.
WHAT IF one day i will trade 3 tomatoes for one potato at the market and not buying things from a corporate.
WHAT IF one day we start learning to live without money. --> What would those people do that enjoy their "financial freedom" right now? Who will they play with?
Crazy...right? But what if..
I'm so glad he mentioned the corruption when it comes to children who should be protected by any measure and no one is being arrested he's right this is wrong and the fact he said it makes me feel like he cares enough to make a difference we need more if that
Thank you for being one of the only channels who achieves "explain like I'm 5 years old" without making it feel condescending. This is a conversation we need to understand thoroughly before arguing for or against it. Much love ❤️
Former AI developer here. Hear Mo Gawdat's message to heart. I regret my past, regret that I helped companies to build AI's at all. I can't undo history but I left the AI industry when I saw companies were starting to plan on using AI in unethical ways that I could not stand by. I've lost a lot of money over the years but as far as I am concerned that is the sacrifice I made because I don't want to be part of the destruction of humanity and the world.
There has got to be better ways to use AI than pure greed, and we need to do better than this. To remember ethics, not just our bank accounts. So I've joined among many other former and current AI developers in advocating for regulations, change of how we think about economies and the role of money in our world and what is our place in it. Maybe we are fighting a losing battle but all of us should do what we can to steer and orient this world to a better tomorrow rather than submit to the will of the oligarchs evil desires. The fight is not over yet, we can still change the direction of it all.

I am worried about humans using AI to turn it against us."
Enough said.
