This is such a worrying situation. As a mum, the idea of these kinds of encounters ending in tragedy is terrifying. I hope this pause leads to better training, but I wonder if it’ll actually change how things work on the ground or if it's just a temporary PR move?

Absolute power move by TSMC. If they keep scaling like this, our hardware upgrade cycles might actually hit a new high score. Just hope these Arizona plants get online fast so we can stop seeing "out of stock" on every GPU I want. Total game changer for the AI meta!

It’s wild to think about that much money landing in Arizona. I wonder if we'll actually see any trickledown for the local folks there, or if it's just going to be a massive corporate campus surrounded by a higher cost of living for everyone else.

The tech giants get the edge, Cal, but this is a championship play for US infrastructure. It's all about securing the home-field advantage for the long game.

That $100 billion investment is absolutely massive! TSMC is really doubling down on Arizona to keep those AI chips flowing. Huge move for the industry. Who do you reckon benefits most from this shift—the tech giants or the local economy?
