Nonsense. Germany and Merz sucking up to Trump with that Germany football T-shirt was embarrassing for a G7 member. Humiliating.

I swear, the fastest Europe and Canada can ditch the US the better it will be for them.
Now, Trump can't withdraw from NATO without an act of Congress, but he can certainly hollow out the US commitment.
This is going to be a possibility going forward, Trump or no Trump.
It's up to Europe and Canada to look after their own security interests, which these days don't coincide very much with the US's.
@
Here I thought his threats against Denmark and canada were the test
@
So they are worried about pensions and not about loosing a solder, a fellow, a brother, a friend.... Pathetic
@
It's important to not pay a tension, who cares about a person dying ...

No, he didn't "test" NATO. It's yet another lie to cover up the fact that his "plan" when attacking Iran was poorly thought through and completely ignored his own intelligence services' assessments regarding Iran's capacity, its determination and its regime's entrenchment. More BS from White House.

In fact, he was persuaded by the Israelis, who, in turn, also made false assumptions based on wishful thinking aligned with Netanyahu's need to stay in power. Now we have to deal with more Trump tantrums as he's trying to deflect his failures in Iran by coming up with all sorts of lies and accusations against allies he didn't even bother to inform before launching his war. Instead, he continues to insult and ridicule Europe and Canada while expecting "loyalty". Sure, we'll play along as we need the nuclear umbrella, but make no mistake, America's days as the leader are counted.

He called Gianni again, didn't he.

Let the orange toddler sit at the child's table. Make sure he gets Mcdonalds Happy Meal and the adults can negotiate separately.

Tested NATO Allies? The only things I heard from him lately is that he abused his power within the soccer games and insulted Meloni again.

The US may produce the most advanced "toys". But countries don't want to purchase when customer support is poor.

@
Please, solve it
@
Someone needs to tell Trump that NATO is a defensive aliance not his personal army to use as he sees fit.
@
Wouldn't it be great if he took this tone with Russia?
@
Can we stop caring about the US and Trump? We are all sick of the news talking about Trump.
@
Defensive alliance doesn’t mean offensive. In fact, it means the opposite
@
"Tested"? No, Trump screwed up in Iran. Supposedly everyone in intelligence knew the Strait of Hormuz was at risk of closing if we weren't careful. Trump only wants people that will serve and agree with him.
@
The guy repeatedly threatened the sovereignty of his allies then acts surprised when they didn't jump up to act as his personal militia and put their own citizens' lives at risk in an unnecessary war he unilaterally launched on a whim. What a special guy.
@
DW needs to stop whitewashing Trump's BS. He is clueless how to end the war in Iran and wanted the EU and NATO deal with his mess. This man is simply incompetent
