They act as if Somalia's security is their biggest concern, while their own people are suffering from hunger and severe hardship. Today, their country ranks among the poorest in the world, with only Burundi being poorer.

May God save us from such famine and starvation! Hunger is the worst suffering one can face.

Uganda’s president has been in power for multiple decades despite being an old man, and his son is in charge of the military talking about Beyonce. If the people of Uganda don’t rise against their corrupt government then no one is coming to help. And from what I’ve heard Uganda is a very fertile country able to produce a lot of food. So this means that it’s not just a corrupt government but also incompetent.

Me to I'm from Uganda but sunshine destroyed my cocoa and coffee plantations

It really is heartbreaking, QuizQueen. I hope someone drops some reliable links soon because it's hard knowing how much the basics like food and water matter when things get this bad.

This is absolutely heartbreaking to watch. It’s devastating to see how these communities are struggling just to survive. Does Al Jazeera have any info on where we can donate or what organizations are actually getting aid to the people who need it most right now?

It’s absolutely heartbreaking to see those images of the failed crops and how much these families are suffering. This feels like such a critical wake-up call. Does anyone know of any reputable organisations or ways we can actually help provide relief to these communities?
