Argentina have made themselves too dependent on Messi and at this stage of the tournament, with his age, it will be a bridge too far for him.
England simply need to man mark him out of the game... keep on his left foot, force him to run more and he will become irrelevant
This is probably the game of the tournament. My heart ❤ is for England 🏴 but my head is saying Argentina 🇦🇷. Whomever scores first can control the game. If England score first, unlikely, they could find a barrage of shots coming from many Argentina players. If Messi scores we will see the stands erupt and we'll be able to hear it down under, Nz. I can't wait for this game may the best team win and it's a fair game, not controlled by the ref, vars or even fifa! 😊. If is goes to penalties then England 🏴 have a real shot! We've seen Messi miss, so that will be on his mind surely? 😊
England are not worried about Argentina or Messi, we are worried about the Refs and VAR Refs, we wont be able to play our normal game thats the only worry for me.
