Football fans are not there for the “Hollywood celebrities” they are there for the footballers. A true celebrity would be seeing Pierluigi Collina! … No one needs depressing songs nor Tom Cruise’s ridiculous, long-winded speech about absolutely nothing. Even the audience got bored and started booing, but the background music was made louder to drawn them out.
Taking the spotlight away from the talented players. I think the players should have their moment. Please don't ruin it! Let it be remembered for good sportsmanship, love of the game, discipline, coming together of different cultures, etc

This is one of the worst decisions ever made against football. This, alongside the hydration breaks. Football is a game of two halves of 45 minutes each and a break of 15 minutes in between. What bad effects the hydration breaks have on the game was there for everybody who watches any major European League to see. This is just going in the wrong direction.
The majority of people don't care about these appearances because the love of celebrity culture is virtually dead. We'll never be like them and they'll never be like us, and while we know them they will never know us.
