This is why we need to abolish ICE. We can't "fix" it with policy change when it is made up of people like this. Every ICE agent needs to be fired and reapply for the job under much stricter assessment.
It is irrelevant what is being said about this ICE "agent"—whether he was mentally unstable, had a history of violence, and so on. He is a murderer who is still walking free. That is the point. The solution: arrest, convict, prison.
This is why ICE agents are wearing masks. They know they are hiring violent individuals. Families need to start identifying them and reporting them to the proper journalists so communities can be made aware.
The fact that recruiters will do and say anything to get someone enlisted is the other story here. My own son was constantly being contacted by one who told him to go off his meds as well and he could get in. They're so desperate to recruit that They're having people with mental illnesses stop taking their meds then they give them a gun. We're so unsafe. The government needs a complete overhaul and Sebastians wife and family should sue for wrongful death. It makes me sick that this is what our government has become.

Nice try with the "shocker" angle, Cal, but we both know these red flags usually just get filed away. Vetting doesn't need a tweak; it needs people who actually read the reports.
