I'd be surprised if the English players aren't tied, they had a tough match played at altitude then 120 minutes in hot sweaty Miami and alot of travelling. To recover from that takes more than a few days.
Fans have already been fighting, saw videos of Argentinian and English fans fighting last night in Miami. The English hooligans have travel bans but the Argentinian hooligans have travelled so it could be intense. I hope there’s no more fighting.
Journalists should be forensic and not cheerleaders, but that isn't the issue. The issue is that the full picture was not presented to Jude, only selected parts of what tuchel said were put to him to purposefully ilicit a particular dramatic response. So it is poor journalism. Don't gaslight us with this cheerleader nonsense.
So you cannot be forensic when it applies to other topics, you'd rather gloss over everything and not report on facts. But when it comes to sport and England, suddenly Sky feels compelled to do the right thing - which in their "Journalism" experience is to 💩on the young lads representing our country?
"When you put it to Jude Bellingham" why don't you tell the truth ? That you and Gabriel Clarke both failed to give Jude the full picture of what the manager actually said! Stirring the pot to get a reaction.. you should be ashamed of yourself. The country wants a public apology and Jude and Thomas deserve one, from Rob Dorset and Gabriel Clarke.
"When I put that to Jude Bellingham", more accurately, "when I put half of that to comment from Tuchel Jude Bellingham" in order to get a sound bite his response was based upon the totally inaccurate information that I fed to him.
The interviewer was a DISGRACE for what appears to be a deliberate misrepresentation of what the manager said to Bellingham by only presenting the negative element rather than also presenting the MENTALITY bit which was a huge element of the interview. If I was part of the England team I would refuse to be interviewed by him as he just seemed to want to be the story. He chose to only present the negative part of the Tuchel interview by completely ignoring the positive part about the MENTALITY. To me this was unacceptable.
There isn't a debate about journalism. You clearly screwed up in the Jude interview by not giving Jude all of the information he should have had to form an answer. You just gave Jude the negative comments from Tuchel instead of including the positive ones. Journalism should be fair and balanced and it wasn't in that interview.
Journalists when you want to be, not when you should be
