Anyone complaining of Lupita playing Helen of Troy is extremely ignorant. First, the story is mythical and as real as Jack and the Beanstalk. Secondly is anyone complaining of Matt Damon with his English and Scottish roots playing Odysseus who was a legendary ancient Greek?
Awesome film… online haters don’t realize how much hard work and passion goes into working on a Nolan film requires. This is an entire crew of extremely passionate and caring filmmakers putting in 110% for the craft, and that alone is commendable
Tom Holland played it perfectly understated for the character who has been a sheltered young man with an overprotective mother, so he is somewhat passive and immature and ultimately vulnerable. This came through in his portrayal, leaving room for the character’s intended growth.
Tom Holland did a great job going from a youth to a powerful leader. The growth was gentle, and gradual, but a total transformation. Well done!
