More than 2,500 healthcare workers signed a petition calling for the release of Dr Hussam Abu Safiya and other detained Gaza medics. The petition was delivered to the Royal College of Physicians (RCP)
I pray for the people of Palestine, that they may find peace amidst the turmoil and suffering that has gripped their lives for so long. May the innocent lives lost be honored, and may their pain never be in vain. I pray for the families torn apart, for the children who have seen too much, and for the communities living in fear and uncertainty. May they find comfort and strength in their faith and in each other. I pray for justice, that it may be served to those who have suffered and that the cycle of violence may come to an end. May the world open its eyes and hearts to the plight of the Palestinian people, offering them solidarity and support in their time of need. I pray for wisdom for leaders and the international community, that they may seek peaceful resolutions and not perpetuate further suffering. Above all, I pray for a future where Palestinians can live in peace and dignity
It's so very sad
The "democratic" world is just silent
While innocent medical workers, medicine doctors are imprisoned&tortured for doing own work
And the world watches, leaders turn theur head to deliver next empty speech & deliver more weapons to genocide commiters, and establish more business contracts.
While their gov tortures innocent people
Free Dr Hussam Now! May the collective voices of people around the world move his captors/abusers into letting him go especially when coupled with sanctions, boycotts and divestments that hits them where it hurts most - their pocket and ego.
