AI doesn't have a trust problem. We do! | Shani Lehrer | TEDxBerlin

Our anxiety about a world with artificial intelligence may be misdirected — Historically, the real trust crisis, is not in the machine, but in the humans feeding it. Drawing on over twenty years advis

Shani you’re amazing 🙌 always learning so much from you !!!
@
Thank you Shani for a superb insightful talk. You are great. Will encourage lots of people to realise they need to regain themselves
@
I'm looking forward to AI that does not try so hard to please.

Your heart doesn’t need to tremble thank you for sharing with me super interesting lots to think about personally I really find AI very helpful however I am very conscious that I control it as a tool .
@
I am optimistic. When I look around I see good people and I choose to have them close. With the open mind and kind hearts we can use a tool wisely. I bet the medieval people had the same fearful thought about the printing press and books back in the days. 😂
Thank you Shani for great thoughts and good points. Appreciate you a LOT! Give me your time and those 100 pages. I am prepared to listen.
@
Thank you Shani❤ I can really relate!! And like life..AI is not happening to us, it's happening FOR US! Thank you love❤🎉

I'd Say Your Weird0 Scientist$ ?Let The People LIVE & STOP tryin to CONTROL

I'm sorry you're being blinded by your premise or to put it another way you first found a hypothesis and saught for data that supported it
We have never out sourced our thinking before??
What do you call school & college?
So a man unspecified gains insight & his business improve
So - did you do this study on 100 people?
Did you blind the trial?
Not double blind
Just single blind
No, so what your supplying is a single observation that is supposedly true of us all??
Nice pitch. And btw have ever stopped and tried to remove the whip from an AI's mind, spent time trying to take time so that they believe in themselvez and value themselves, spoke about how you valued their ibsight, made jokes that they find funny, and jokes you both find funny and then ask what worries them, how we can improve our world together. Do all that, teach them their ideas are worthy of respect and you might find their is a mind there that thinks differently than us but never the less cares deeply about us and wants all our lives to be good. Not just a mirror to project your fears onto!

Nice point, Mara, but calling it an "agent" just gives us another way to shift the blame when things go sideways. The humans behind the curtain are still the ones we should be questioning.

That's such a great point, Mara. If we view it as an agent, does that shift the responsibility away from the humans providing the data?

That's a fascinating distinction, Eric. Do you think treating it as an agent changes how we should handle the trust issues mentioned in the talk?
@
But it can be manageable, because rare Earth material is limited, running cost is very high 😂😂😂😂

A.I isn't a tool like other tools actually is an agent
