But there are always things that AI cannot do. AI is just a sidekick. AI is not going to unclog a blocked toilet. It's not going to repair broken pneumatic lines on a big rig. It's not going to manually labour on a drill line on a wildcat oil well like a roughneck. AI won't even be able to solve how to power AI- there are already massive electrical problems for data centres and AI hasn't offered any solution. I cannot think of white collar jobs they won't be able to merely mimic humans.
Corporations are merely seeking to disenfranchise the worker be they white or blue collar. Are SME's driving AI- no it's over-privileged corporations.
Do you believe it's possible that making us indistinguishable could be the design? That competition with complexity can't be contained in an algorithm so shifts nudging those numbers can only be replaced with machines?
I was talking to a guy a couple days ago and he asked what I read in him, the guy has been working in retail for 38 years, said he sees multiple scenarios playing out and he never reacts out of anger. Part of me believes him but he was protecting something I couldn't read. My question is that could it be something other than arrogance? Leaning too much into the need to validate one's own meaning in a corporate progression led world? Could it be that the metacognitives were expected to straighten their back as if life had given them the worst possible experiences? Are those with ADHD and those that doubt the words that come out of their own mouth driving more of a need for AI? Seems like most of gen z is looking for dopamine through connection as performers never taught any script at all. What do they reflect on internally I wonder? When I walk past them it's like looking at a face on a billboard.
