Trump is a mob boss offering protection to countries, wether they like it or not. Just like the mobs that existed in the USA trump is now on a world scale.
Typical “nice country you have here, it would be a pity if something happened to it” threat.
For over 20 years I did business internationally. I sent tractors into Russia, combines into China as well as other industrial goods into the usa. Out of those 3 countries the only country that changed the rules 3X while an agreement was in effect was the usa. The Russian foreign minister is correct in saying "the usa is not agreement capable".
What a shambles this is turning out to be. The US is now little more than a punchline. We've gone from a situation where there was no blockade to one where the Iranians wished to impose a toll (to help with reparation costs for damages caused by an illegal attack). The toll would have been very little. The cost of doing business in the region. But - no. The Orange Simpleton can't be seen to have been completely outmanoeuvred (over a mess HE CREATED) and so he has to get his cut. Let's hope some blood clot detaches and rushes to his tiny brain before we sink even further into quicksand.
The US is on the fast track to UN and international tribunals and courts. Also, at the rate 0f $155-Billion a month, there's the option of the international markets, to quit lending the US anymore money, at an interest rate of only $24-Billion a week.
why does it always sound like he thinks a "proposal" is a "done deal", just telling someone what you want from them isn't a deal, artistically or otherwise!

By critical I mean we start causing the collapse of the storage caves and will only have enough oil for military use.
Which means oil prices of 200+ and someone being chased out of office.
We can put up with a lot as Americans, but $6 average gas prices are a no no.
