Burnham couldn't run a bath let alone a country any more than Starmer , I hate to think of the contents of Starmers Letter of Last Resort let alone what Burnams will contain , God help us all

Disgraceful ..... yet another unelected pm. Guess how it ends.... (?) The UK canmot afford this nonsense with highly ambitious people getting into power for power's sake.

"Sorry we got the Israel thing so wrong, please vote for us and not the Greens, who are right on this topic from the beginning."

Don't forget it's early days for Burnham

If Milliband stays in Energy you can forget any hope of growth, quite the opposite.

So we will have an illegitimate Islamic "King" signing off on an illegitimate PM!! Democracy??????????????????
@
He has no manifesto to speak of and the same thin skinned ego as Starmer and Johnson = he will try and keep everybody happy because he can’t bear to be disliked = a repeat of the mish mash of tinkering and conflicting policies to please a series of a little action groups that end up pleasing no one

Gone within a year

Yes, Burnham is copying Farage by refusing to be interviewed by serious political journalists therefore escaping any scrutiny.

If you mean he hasn’t given any meaningful information, interviews, policy documents or future policy decisions then yeah, it’s a massive strength.
It seems to me he will implement Starmers policy portfolio but in a Northern accent.
That’s why he is there. He is in charge of nothing but is the face the public might be more willing to endure.
If he is very lucky, he might get HS2 revived and a new station in Manchester. Everything else will be the same.

Anna is so bloody lovely ❤😍

I wonder when the Press stop concentrating on every utterance and gesture politicians may or may not make and concentrate more on what they actually do. Micro reporting just gets everyone paranoid and leads to masterful inactivity.
