Denmark has no more right to rule over a colony in the western hemisphere than Portugal had the right to rule over Goa. The US liberated Europe from the Nazis, saved Europe from starvation and economic calamity after the war through the Marshall Plan, and financed Europe's defense through out the cold war and beyond......during the past 60 years, rather than paying for their own defense, impish, ungrateful NATO countries like Denmark have used the money to build up a lavish socialist welfare states on the backs of US taxpayers, and then virtue sitnal their socialist, moral superiority for having done so......Snarky, blather from the likes of Mette Frederiksen is a clear sign that for the US, NATO is a waste of time and money, and it's time to get out now..
Does Trump want to wage a new war of aggression? There is no deal whereby the US stays in NATO if it gets Greenland. The NATO alliance will endure even without the US. Blackmail does not work.
