There are most definitely vehicles on Mackinac Island...I was literally just on it and there was a huge flatbed truck going around picking up all the rental bikes people just ditch all over the island for one reason or another. There's also other vehicles for emergency services.
Back in the mid 80s somebody thought it would have been a good idea to have a computer show in VENICE!
